IULIAN PATRASCANU
Iulian Patrascanu has ten years worth of experience in the field of legal consultancy, advising national and multinational corporations operating in Romania. He started his career as a Legal Adviser with Fininvest, a major player on the Romanian financial market, then he became Senior Legal Adviser with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Before joining David & Associates law firm as a Partner, Iulian Patrascanu worked for the Romanian offices of two international law firms: UK-based Taylor Joynson Garrett and US-based Arent Fox Plotkin & Kahn, where he advised and dealt with a various number of corporate, employment and taxation issues.
As a legal, tax and corporate specialist, he assists and advises our clients on all aspects of employment, taxation and corporate matters. His practice includes, in particular, advice on labour law issues during transfers of ownership, corporate restructuring or during privatisation.
He also deals with all aspects of collective labour law (collective bargaining agreements, trade unions, collective dismissal programmes) and individual labour law (employment contracts, bonus schemes, stock options).
Mr. Patrascanu is a Juris Doctor from the University of Bucharest, and wrote his thesis on taxation. He is fluent in English.
